Purchased some crappie jigs online and they were never shipped.
I contacted customer service and was told it was an oversight and would ship in 24 hours and sent my a 20.00 off coupon. 48 hours later, no email stating shipped so I used the coupon and purchased more than contacted customer service and was told all ordered was back ordered and they canceled both orders including goths 20.00 coupon for the trouble. BAD BUSINESS!! Never will buy from this company again or Cabels as they own that one also👎. Sad to see when a company gets so big that they lose thier customer care!

Instead of just emailing you a password reset email they will annoyingly want to email you a code that never arrives causing me to have to call because their chat window does not open in order to be able to use it. I have had to call many times to reset my password. After one of these times one of the reps maliciously changed my mailing address. I can't change my address because I can't even get into my account as well as the fact that I just had something delivered to my address so that only leaves a rep to manually change it. Unless it literally changed by itself which I highly doubt. The reps are nice at first and then become rude and act like you are the problem when it's their problem. I don't need to verify my mailing address for my account, email will suffice. They could just fic the issue their website is having rather then making people call all the time. The only plus is being able to talk to people that do not have thick accents that make it so I cannot understand anything they say.

Updated Mar 27, 2022Very poor customer service. cancelled my orders many times for weird reasons. even blocked my gift card. most of the employees are irresponsible, they are not helpful to solve the problems. you have to call a lot of departments, waste much time on that..
I should have checked the reviews before placing the order..
Cabela's and Bass pro shops are of the same company, both of them are crapppppp.

Aug 8, 2020seriously, your shipping is horrible 3 weeks for an unstuck item? you guys are suppose to be better than this I WILL NOT BE USING YOUR STORE AGAIN until you get it together. Aug 30, 2022Bought an item with a orange clearance sticker price for $18.97 after purchasing the item and peeling off the ‘clearance’ sticker I found out the item was cheaper then there ‘sale’ price $12.50 . Making you feel your getting a deal when there jacking up the price! Deceitful practices

Jul 24, 2020They took my payment information twice, and twice cancelled my order days later without offering a backorder, raincheck, or comparable item AFTER they had my payment information. I understand supply issues and can sympathize. But doing it repeatedly is bait and switch fraud.
Their customer service hotline rep, Tracy, mentioned that I had cancelled the order, but after a brief hold concluded that the item was no longer available. Three days after the order, and the day after it was "out of stock".
Lots of things could have been happening here, but now a website that I do not trust has personal payment information by selling products they don't have and wont honor. Which is a shame, because the in store sales rep was extremely helpful during my visit, and recommended that I check online regularly.
This site is dishonest. I regret trusting it.

Dec 19, 2021I wish I had seen these reviews before I purchased. Well, I ordered online for ship to store. Got the merchandise it was too big. I returned it to the store. Well, in order to get a credit to my original credit card then need to scan my drivers license into their computer system. What are they going to do with that information. They said it is for my safely. They were making a credit to the original card that was used for purchase. I will never purchase from them again. Becareful.

I was looking for a waterfowl dog vest, after choosing the best 1 in my opinion selected the size and color to fit him went through all the order information process give my visa # and then and only then did it pop up this vest is out of stock and not sure when or if it will be back in stock. Wasted alot of my time reading reviews and trying to decide which one is best only to order it then find out it really should never have been on website if its not available AND they got my visa # now. Dont waste your time being fooled into trying to purchase any of thier s..t

Apr 1, 2021Bass Pro offered a 55% discount on a FishFinder for Spring Season Sale. I jumped on it. They pushed me into getting another 20 dollars off of it with a Capital One VISA Bass Pro Credit Card. I didn’t even intend to defer my payment on a card. My transaction went through and I was so happy I got this FishFinder at a great price. A day or two later they said a flag was on this card I accepted saying it might be fraud. I chkd my account status and it said the order was cancelled. They won’t honor my original order to pay in full. Unreal now I sit with nothing because of their promotions. I will never buy anything from Bass Pro ever or Cabelas

Jun 21, 2020I searched for a pistol online, and the website said the pistol was in stock. The website allowed me to put the item in my shopping cart. When I went to check-out, after entering my credit card information, the site said there was "insufficient stock" of the item. Why would their website allow me to put a product in the shopping card if it was out of stock? Terrible.

May 18, 2022I recently placed an order with Bass Pro Shop, both items were “ in stock” at that time. I used a gift card for a portion of the order, after approx. a week and not hearing from anyone from bass pro, our bank still showing pending. Just got a notice that the large/ more expensive item was no longer available ( very simple carhartt pants), they are not charging for that item, the other item has shipped out to us, the gift card used now ( I think) has a partial balance on it and I think my wife has thrown it in the trash after placing the complete “ in stock” order. We have been a customer of bass pro shop & Cabelas for approx. 30 years plus, extremely poor service start to finish.

Nov 9, 2022Im not sure why there so many bad reviews this place is awesome I come here all the time. Bass pro introduced me to benchmade and in my opinion is one of the best knives money can buy its worth every penny I spent on it. I come here a lot to just browse. They have cool tents on display one time i feel alseep in one of the display tents and woke up the next morning un notice. Tru story. Anyways bass pro is fun they have just about anything a person could need for survival

Also, they email spam you, and unsubscribing from email spam is a hassle. Normally other e-commerce sites make it VERY simple to unsub from email spam, but with bassproshop you have to REQUEST to be unsubbed. WHAT.

Dec 17, 2020The website is a nightmare. Couldn't get a E-Card with Chromebook. Then PayPal wouldn't work. Called & they always give the same answer delete browsing history, still NG. Went to windows still NG with Paypal. Had to use a CC which I was trying to avoid. So 2 days & 10 tries later got something.

Updated Feb 6, 2023I ordered a pair of boots 11-23-2022 then immediately changed my order to two pair of boots. The representative said no problem, he couldn't cancel the order but I would not be charged as long as the original boots were returned. When fed ex delivered the single pair I refused the shipment and signed the FedEx tablet. Called Bass a couple weeks later and they stated that yes, they had received the boots back but it would take 2 weeks for a refund. Now 1-19-2023 I still have not received a refund and the 1st phone call they hung up. 2nd call spoke to Denise who couldn't help me but transfered my call to Jana who said refunds take 5 to 7 WEEKS after they receive the return. I want my $46.31 refund.
Update! Finally received my credit on January 26, 2023 more than two MONTHS later, shame on Bass Pro/Cabela's.

Jun 29, 2020I will order stuff off of wish.com before I ever order anything from here again. Ordered bow fishing arrows that were “in-stock” paid extra for the 2 day delivery. Get an email the next day that it’s going to take 2-3 weeks before it ships. Well it’s been 3 weeks, I’ve sat on the phone on hold for over an hour several times with no answer. No one, I repeat NO ONE order anything from here. I’ve also tried to email them a request for my money back and they sent me a confirmation number that was the same as my order number and it says my order number doesn’t exist. Worst place I’ve ever ordered anything from with NO customer service
